Sr. Software Engineer - MCU

As a Senior Software Engineer on the MCU Engineering team, you'll own the delivery of complex product capabilities from technical design through production deployment — building the services, APIs, and event-driven systems that power H1's healthcare data platform. What you'll do: - Own features end-to-end from technical design through implementation and production support - Develop and optimise APIs, backend services, and distributed microservice architectures - Design and optimise PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and database performance at scale - Build and troubleshoot Kafka-based event-driven systems and Elasticsearch search infrastructure - Deploy and support applications running in Kubernetes, including Helm charts and autoscaling What you'll need: - 6+ years of professional software engineering experience building scalable, production-grade applications - Experience with Kafka, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, AWS, and modern CI/CD practices - Full-stack experience using TypeScript and Node.js - Based in India, with availability to overlap until 10:30pm IST for US East Coast collaboration
