Cybersecurity Technical Mentor - Independent Contractor

Location: Remote (US, Canada, Europe, MENA, India and APAC time zones) Employment type: Contract Udacity, an Accenture company, is recruiting external contract mentors for its School of Cybersecurity. Mentors support learners through 1:1 video sessions, technical deep-dive sessions and group Q&A. Responsibilities: - Hold 1:1 video sessions answering learner questions on course content and projects. - Prepare and run technical deep-dive sessions with slides. - Host group Q&A sessions via Slack or video. - Review student project submissions before sessions. Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in the relevant field. - Cybersecurity fundamentals, threat detection, vulnerability assessment and incident response. - Familiarity with security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls) and frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the flexibility to work part-time.
